We have been able to secure an extra-large Ramada at Pioneer Park from 10-2pm for the banquet. We are asking cadets to report at 10am at Pioneer Park on Sunday. We will be eating there at 11am. Because there will be no electricity at the site those that have hot dishes that require electricity can drop off at the VFW Hall which is just a couple blocks away from the park beginning at 930am. They will be kept hot and brought over once it’s closer to time for lunch. Cold dishes can be brought to the park at 10am.
We appreciate your understanding of the switch in locations. The number grew larger than we had anticipated and quickly became an issue with the original site. As we hoped to have it as low cost as possible the free option did not work out unfortunately. Luckily we live in Arizona where the weather should be good for an outdoor event in December! We are glad to be part of a unit that is growing every month and has such supportive families that all want to attend so out growing our original location is a blessing in that regard. We will have to begin our search for a location that will hold even more people for next year the way it looks!
